Team Reps, 

Thank you all for coming out for our in person meeting.  We appreciate all of your help.  Please read to the end to make sure you do not miss any information. 

Here is a the presentation from last night.  

Some helpful reminders: 

• Coach Background Checks are Due before the start of the practice: Email them all to [email protected] by May 26, 2025. If USA Swim certified, send pictures of certification.  Certifications last 2 years.  If not USA swim certified, see the presentation for how to get one.  ANY coach junior, assistant, head that is 18 MUST have a background check to be at any practice or meet.  No exceptions.  
• Ribbon pickup on June 1 at Jackie's house.  Address and time in the presentation. 
• Team Size Survey: Due June 6.  Any swimmer competitive or non competitive must be included for insurance purposes.
• Insurance and Swimtopia Payment: Jackie will send invoices after we have team size.  We need them back immediately.  No later than June 15.  Please do not make her chase people.  We are all volunteers with other jobs!   
• ODSL End Of Season Meet Intent: Please have ALL families fill out their intention for Divisionals and All Stars.  This will help us plan better and to not have too many heats or not enough heats. We need forms back by June 18, so we can use the information to plan the cut times. 
• Remember to promote the scholarship with your seniors.  Recommendations and Applications are both due on June 23rd by 5:00pm.  
• Jay, our head official, will run a post time trials before the first meet Stroke and Turn training WITH enough numbers.  We would need to have a large enough group.  
• Remember use the letter to communicate EARLY with team reps regarding, a timeline to ensure you finish the meet, the order of events, pool or HOA rules, parking, team area, concessions, themes etc!  Everything is smoother when we know more!
